Ivy Energy Saving was set up in 2006 in the UK to bring a series of energy saving products to market. These products are either specifically designed energy saving devices or are energy efficient versions of existing products.
The Board members all have strong business backgrounds and bring a wealth of commercial experience to the sector – many previous promising innovations in the sector have failed due to undercapitalisation or lack of commercial expertise.
Ivy seeks to work closely with recognised accreditation bodies; in the UK this is The Energy Saving Trust (EST). Rather than rushing to market with its Standby Buster product, Ivy worked closely with EST, initially to agree a standard as none existed, before developing a product that has the functionality of early entrants but crucially, consumes less than a Watt.
Ivy is offering its products through a combination of recognised retailers and online organisations as well as direct to consumers through its own e-commerce web site: standbybuster.com.
