STANDBY
BUSTER® is a remote-controlled electrical socket that lets you
completely switch off appliances overnight - instead of leaving them in
standby - so that they use no electricity.
Standby Buster consists of two parts; an electrical socket/plug and a
remote control. The socket is simply plugged into any normal electrical
outlet and is then switched on, and off, with the remote.
- Standby Buster is the only remote control device approved by the Energy Saving Trust and consumes less than 1 Watt of electricity.
- Using
Standby Buster to switch off a typical arrangement of electronic
entertainment equipment will save approximately 570kWh* of electricity
over the course of the year. Generating this electricity would
typically produce 245kg of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
- At rate of 12p kWh that means Standby Buster can save a minimum of over £40 a year.

|
- Each remote control offers you the ability to assign four, or more, Standby Busters to four on/off buttons.

 |
| Plug
the Standby Buster into a traditional socket and then an extension lead
into the Standby Buster, into which the TV etc can be plugged. |
